RUBY

Ruby was an amazing, sweet, funny girl.  She was smart and easy to live with.  We are very lucky have puppies to carry on her legacy and share with others.  Ruby, we see you every day in the eyes of the dogs that live with us and we will always have you in our hearts.

None of us were prepared for this little ball of energy.  Not so little now, but still full of energy.  Her personality has stolen our hearts and amazes us with her ability and eagerness to learn new things.  Ruby put the pressure on Pat to get her Tracking title, since her daughter Heidi got her Tracking Title at the 2012 National Specialty.  But that was put on hold for a bit to spend the fall with Dawn Hitchcock.  Dawn and Ruby got in a rhythm and in six weeks, this beautiful girl had her title!  A huge THANK YOU to Dawn Hitchcock for showing this big beautiful girl to her Championship!  

We started 2013 getting Ruby back to Tracking and we resumed our Obedience training as well.  So far 2013 has been a good year!  Ruby passed her tracking test on April 29th and did an incredible job – having to go through standing water on a cold Sunday morning and finished her track in 5 minutes.  Ruby also got two legs towards her Beginner Novice title.  At the National Specialty in May, Ruby finished her Rally Advanced title!
