Achievements: Kobi has had quite the conformation career as a veteran. He won Best Veteran in Sweeps both days at the BMDSEW Regional Specialty on 2/28 & 3/1/14 and he won an Award of Merit from the 9-11 Veterans class under breeder judge Christine Mann and Best Veteran in Sweeps in October, 2013. Here is a pic from his most recent win. He looks fabulous!
Kobi was Sue’s first Berner and he has been a wonderful introduction to dog shows and trials. He finished his championship easily and then went on to add titles in Obedience (CD), Rally (RE and URX1) and Drafting (NDD). He is now enjoying our training in Nosework and has passed his Order Recognition Test on birch.
Kobi was a reading dog at Spectrum School and loved his time with the kids. As a veteran, Kobi makes a occasional appearance back in the show ring. He swims twice a week and gets massages to keep him in top form.
Kobi is a great ambassador for the breed and our Swiss heritage. He has attended Harvest Fest in New Glarus, Wisconsin for the past five years, and has pulled his cart in the last four Cheese Day parades in Monroe, Wisconsin. Kobi loves this attention.
